you don't need a 8x6 foot table, you don't need to kneel down and squint behind your units to setup exactly the correct line of sight and you won't have the urge to have a 'every unit we've got painted' scale battle that'll take 2 days to do a complete turn

not a bad game, spent a good few hrs messing with it, the campaign mode is decent enough. as its almost a direct port of the board game, it will seem odd to anyone that hasn't played wh40k epic. haven't tried the multiplayer yet, it may well be quite interesting, as theres quite an array of troop types available, most of the wonderfully wierd ork units are there

Not bad - I think I'd still prefer a direct version of 40K rather than Epic.

They're making a Warhammer version of it - all your armies will be stored online and will gain experience etc. Sounds cool - they had screen shots in White Dwarf a few months ago.

The best GW game so far is chaos gate imo.
The single players is brilliant
