Basic question - firmware

Really sorry for such a basic question - but I'm a complete newbie to this.
Have just received a SPA 2100 from the US via ebay. I got them to take the existing firmware off it - was set to broadvoice.
I want to use it with blueface here. Is there specific blueface firmware I need to install, or is it standard sip firmware I should be installing or do I need to install anything at all?

Check out the blueface configuration for Sipura ATA.
It has all the settings your ATA needs to have to connect to blueface.

Just FYI, the firmware should remain on the ATA - they either just removed the specific settings for the old provider; or reset it to factory settings.
Without firmware an ATA is useless.

    hth,
