Bi-Xenon Headlights - good or bad?

I'm in the search for a new car and one of the criteria is whether I can add xenon's to the option list. I do a lot of night driving and have tailed a few cars with xenon's and was well impressed with how they lit up the road, so I'm wondering are they worth the money? Are xenon's on some cars better that xenon's on others…
