Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Generally its impossible to overclock laptops, because you need to change FSB and voltage settings in the bios, and companies like compaq generally use custom bioses that hide these settings from the end user, you could try getting software that does the overclocking from windows, but you run into the second problem, in that its most likely impossible to change the existing cooling system on a laptop, so the extra heat generated may overload the existing cooling system and fry your laptop

yeah that was my option (using software that is). but the thing seems to run so hot at the moment anyway, i might just leave it, cheers man
