Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You don't seem to understand what I'm saying, sorry let me explain it more clearly.

    Celtic + Rangers:
Came first and second in an utterly ****e league, say a rating of 2 stars out of 5.
Got into the CL, because they get a place because they are an individual country. They would not get a place in the CL if they were in the English FA. LIke say Wigan and Sunderland are.

DIdn't get into Europe, cause there are another 20 teams above them.

These two teams had the same achievements last season in my book, and the only reason Celtic and Rangers look anyway decent is because they get into the CL cheaply.

Sunderland and Wigan dominate the Championship, because they were playing utter ****e, but when they come up into the PL, they struggle a lot, and don't look anywhere near as impressive as they did the previous season. The same thing would happen with Celtic and Rangers.

    Champions of Europe anyone?

And in fairness to Newcastle they have performed reasonably well in Europe over the last number of years. Everton will probably give a good account of themselves in Europe this year also.

But this is all besides the point. Miller was right to leave Celtic. Sure he was only going to be a squad player there.

I think Miller would have gotten way more games had he stayed at Celtic. He started 3 league games last year, and was subbed on for a further 5 (totalling 291 minutes on the pitch, basically 3 full games). He would have gotten way more football than that at Celtic.

He may have been right to leave, but I still think he was wrong to move to United, but I suppose it's always difficult to turn down a move to one of the big clubs. Hopefully he will get a loan deal alright, I have only seen him play for Ireland and I have never been impressed by those performances.
