Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless Router Setup Question.

    for most of today and last night i have tried to set up my
    linksys wireless router so i can share my dsl connection
    that i have on my desktop with a laptop i got but no
    matter what i do still cant get it to work.

    i thinking of getting someone in to set it up for me
    because its driving me crazy at this stage.
    does anyone know who or where i might find
    someone to set up something like this in the
    city?

    ricey, had a similar problem myself. Just remember, both your adsl modem and wireless router are preconfigured to be DHCP servers. You only want the modem to be DHCP enabled. That way, since it is the actual gateway to the ISP your computer can get all its settings from it. The wireless router, will simply become an AP, and perform no other function other being a wireless ethernet bridge. Let us know how you get on bud :cool:
