Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless Network Set-up?

    Hey folks, I need to set-up a wireless network in my apartment. I will be getting 2mb BB from BT this week. What I need to know is this;

    Should I go for a wireless router, and just add it to my BT modem, or would I be better buying a wireless router with an ADSL modem built-in?

    This is what I need to have on the network;
    1) Laptop - usb 2.0, firewire, 10/100/1000 ethernet, built-in WiFi a/b/g.
    2) Laser printer - (what's the difference in speeds between USB 2.0 and ethernet? Am I right in saying that no matter how fast the wireless network is, the speed of files going to the printer will only be as fast the cable from the router? Would a print server be an advantage. Although I hear there are no 3-in-1 routers so this would mean more wires/boxes.)
    3) An Apple iMac - usb 1.0, firewire, 10/100 ethernet (what's the best way to get this on the network?)

    The two computers do not need to talk to each other, just the printer, if they can it's a bonus. I realise the whole WIN/MAC issue here.
