Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

RM to MP3 Convertor

    Can anyone recommend a free RM to MP3 convertor? I only have two files to convert, so I'm not buying, and all the shareware stuff I've found is feature limited, or doesn't even recognise my RM files.

    www.dbpoweramp.com free but you need to install the codec to convert in the way your wanting.

For Real files it uses Direct Show to decode though so it helps if you already have RealAlternative installed (being the minimalist geek you are, I assume that's already the case). Details here and clickthru to here. Should work - as the page says, if it doesn't the alternative may be to install Real Player and decode in realtime (both of which may be only moderately better than having your eyes gouged out with a rusty spoon so hopefully it'll work)
