PHP Chat Room ?

    Hi lads,
    I'm wondering if anybody has had any expierence with any php based chat rooms or recommend me one to look into. So far i've come across this one
    http://phpopenchat.org/index.php it connects with a SQL database.

    It has to be SQL becuase i'm working on getting mambo / phpbb and a chat room all linked together regarding registering.

    Here is a flash based one that i've aslo found. It has a nice enough interface and comes with the .fla for $5.

    I to found the flash one when i was researching chat rooms a few months ago. Iwould go with that, as the flash interface provides a much nicer user experience. Another option is: http://www.userplane.com/ they have a free ad support flash plugin.

    thanks leftofcentre, i'll probably take the flash one and modify the .fla. I'm still hoping that there is a open source php chat room out there. If anyone knows then post here!

    The userplane interface looks very nice and it has some really good features. I'd be more interested in the features in the paid service rather than the free one, but it's way over the top expensive (starting at $150 p/m for 0 – 5,000 Est. Daily Visitors)
