Im a 52 Orc Warlock on Deathwing and have been a member of The Old Grudge there since the game went retail. It's a great guild and is part of The Older Gamers . We are (always) looking for members, there is no level requirement no minimum amount of playtime in fact the only requirement is that you are 25 years old or over. Let me know your characters name if your interested in joining and i can send an invite :)

The Older Gamers also have an alliance guild on Dunemaul if your that way inclined....

Jebus, why 25 years or over?
    Seems a little, em... unenforceable?

Personally i belive the guild is for the more mature player who isn't going to shout "Noooooooob!" because you ask a simple question. If you lie about your age and join the guild you will be joining a guild full of people over 25 and would have to act fairly mature to not get found out. Although all this maturity talk makes it sound like we don't have any fun which is untrue (The naked gnome race and the running of the bulls events are testiment to this :) ) Its a win win situation for the guild really. Anyhow, here's the spiel from the tholdergamers website.

The Older Gamers are members of a community for people that still enjoy playing computer games, but are in a bit of an older age bracket than the 'stereotypical' gamer. TOG is for gamers who (regretfully) can't go out boozing every weekend, because we have partners, and are left at our PC's playing games after a quiet dinner or putting the kids to bed. TOG is for busy workers who need to de-stress from their busy jobs by shooting a few players each night. TOG is also for people who have retired and find themselves with plenty of time to indulge a hobby of online gaming.

TOG is for gamers whose memories might go back to playing Pacman on an Atari 2600; gamers who had as much fun playing Pitfall on the C-64 as they do playing the latest games today - although the nostalgia junkies might still be running a C-64 a simulator somewhere on their PC. A lot of us who started their gaming addiction on those machines are still around going strong on all the latest games.

TOG is for gamers who are passionate about their hobby of PC games (particularly online multiplayer games), but who want to escape or separate themselves from the abusive, disruptive and disrespectful behaviour, usually attributed to younger players, that is so often encountered when gaming online.

We have found that it is simply a lot more enjoyable to play a game of Warcraft/Call of Duty/Battlefield 1942/PlanetSide etc., or to meet up in Star Wars Galaxies or the latest MMORPG server, with people you have something in common with. Eventually these people become a new circle of online friends, so you will be playing with and against people you know. Even offline TOG members often get together for LAN events, a night at the pub for a few beers.

This is exactly what TOG is about: a friendly, vibrant community full of PC gaming addicts from around the world, who are old enough to know how to enjoy ourselves properly!

I'm on Deathwing aswell, but I'm in Sacrilege (so not looking for a guild)

I think 25+ is a little OTT but if that's what you're going for, then so be it. I'm not a fan of having kiddies in, but one of our guys is 15 and I would have thought he's 25, very mature player, very dependable and never out of line against other players. I guess I fall just short of your requirement too :p

    Yeah, I agree, Koneko.
25+ is a nice idea, but realisticly what you should be looking at is a maturity level rather than an age, as generally > age != > maturity.
Btw, my previous post was meant in jest :D

I agree with both of you in a lot of ways. I guess it just makes it a lot simpler to have a black and white cut off point. It isnt very easy to measure something like Maturity.

My favorite aspect of the guild is it's laid back nature. There is never any problem with having to go afk in an instance or if a member needs help with a quest/instance there is always someone to help even if it means the helper isnt getting any exp for it.

Anyhow, even if you don't want to join the guild feel free to send a mesage my way if you need a group member or a hand with anything at all. In game name is FancyPants ;)
