I'd say it'll be a low scoring weekend for alot of people. I'd expect Liverpool and Man Utd to concede their first goals this season, while players that alot of teams have, like John Terry, could miss out over the weekend through injury.

Alot, like Thierry Henry, picked up injuries during the international week.

I was on 44 when I last checked. Pretty good weekend. Clean sheets for Del Horno (captain) and Carragher, with goals for Barton, Bent and Drogba. Friedel and Gamst Pedersen to play tomorrow too.

I put Terry on the bench yesterday cos fantasy football said he was injured.

I transferred him out for Del Horno and wasted my transfer as well. I check Telextext every week but it got alot of things wrong yesterday.

It reckoned that Lampard would be rested and Cech had a shoulder injury. Don't have Cech but luckily I left Lampard on.

I'm top now! Hopefully I'll stay there after today's matches and when the bonus points are added too.

33 points this week but Henry didnt play and Fabregas came off bench the muppet! if he had to stay off then Bullard would have played and he scored at weekend but thats the way things go!

Boro are playing Wigan tomorrow and I'd imagine they'll play.

Poor weekend for me so far. Drogba will only get 1, Bent will only get 2 and Lampard got just 3. My only saving grace was having Gallas as my captain for 12.

Here's hoping the rest of the lads can pick up the points tomorrow and Monday.

Here's hoping for a nil all draw between Man Utd and Liverpool!

He missed a penalty. Players get -2 for missing a penalty. He probably only had 1 point when you looked because he played for less than 60 minutes.

Once he has played 60+ minutes, he'll get another point which will bring it back to 0. That's if Tottenham don't take him off.

I got 54 but still in a poor position overrall. Good month so far though. I change my captain depending on opposition and it usually works. This week A.Cole was captain so got 12 points for him. Assists for Malbranque, assist for Duff, goal for Crespo, clean sheet for Terry, clean sheet for VDS.

Cole should be alright for the newcastle game at the weekend, had a slight groin strain. Just was not 100% the last week!

Del Horno, im thinking the same, he has a thigh strain + im hoping he will be fit to play this weekend but knowing chelsea id say they will wait a few weeks to allow him back to full fitness! so i presume Carvalho will continue to play instead for a few weeks!!! but hopefully not as ive stil got Del Horno!!! :mad:

I wouldnt sell him as you will lose valuable points ive had him fromthe start so his value has gone up to 8.2 mill from 7.5, so if i sell him i will only get 7.8!!! id want him back later as he is a quality player who has a knack for getting forward and grabbing the odd goal!!!

i'll be happy to keep him for another while yet....

i brought in owen a few weeks ago!! Was not sure of buying newcastle players as they were lacking any creativity or spirit, but owen has seemed to bring a new spark to the club!!

i also got N’Zogbia mainly because he's cheap but looks to have potential....+ i liked the way he finished last week by making a fool off freidal!!!

but if your looking for an allround striker i think van Nist or yakubu would be the best buys!! mBoro will be dependent on him as their other strikers and downing are injured or not fit!!! + yakubu guaranteed to hit the penalties, whereas in newcastle its got to be shearer!!!

I went for Viduka, half a mill cheaper than Yakubu and seems to be on a little bit of form. For him. Plus Sunderland at home

Might keep Drogba for now. I made my transfer for the week by dropping Friedel for Van Der Saar.

Not sure if dropping Drogba for Yakubu would be worth the 4 points. Drogba has only had one poor week so far.

Just done the same there today, i bought Owen and put him as captain, hopefully it will work out. I want to but NZogbia but don't want to lose any more points this week. NZogbia is looking like he could be a good buy, will have to wait untill next week though. Sold gardner and bought perry, not much options in low cost defenders out there.

got him digiman....more of an investment but i like his style...very attacking minded!!! V cheap!!

Well I am doing my best to put Bruckess on the map (its in Donegal by the way) 12th at the minute, hopefully will go up a few more places this weekend. Come on BRUCKLESS CELTIC

23rd at the moment. ive been holding places either side of the 30 since the start now cant see me making a huge surge forward considering the majority of my forwards are injured(henry) suspended(mido) or just crap(sheringham) .
