Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am involved with an organisation that works with people with learning disabilities. They have been donated a 1967 celtic shirt signed by Joe mc Bride and Bertie Auld.It is also signed by Dixie Dean from the 1971 team. The shirt is framed and mounted. The person that donated it won it in a raffle and was offered €1000 for it before they donated it.

I have been asked to put this up on Ebay. Would anyone have an idea as to what would be an realistic reserve for such an item. Obviouly I want to get as much as possible for the organistaion.

Id say you would be looking in the multiple of thousands really. Might be an idea to contact Celtic themselves though, I'm sure they would be very interested in this for the museum.

A jersey worn by the players on that night in lisbon ? very unlikely to be honest

If the shirt is as you say genuine then my advice would be to get in touch with some of the private shirt collectors. People dont pay big money off ebay due to the fact that there are so many fakes around.

    Check out

    www.footballmatchworn.com
    www.matchwornshirts.com

If you get in touch with these guys then they will point you in the right direction and might also be able to get a caluation.

If it can be authenticated then i would imagine maybe 2-3k

    Thanks guys

I will pass on your advice and look into authentication of the shirt, I havr not seen it yet so I don't know if there is any proof of it's pedigree.
