Hello hello it's good to be back! once again kids, big up all those who made it down for teh last one - was mayhem! biggin up Eddie Brennan for keepin them toilets minty clean, all the other technoids for rocking the gaffe downstairs for the assorted bunch of athletes in attendance, and a big up for all the crew who came down and represented upstairs - SafetyBoy for showing us exactly how its done, Syringe for locking it down tight - darker than your nana's pum-pum - and the one and only Rory C for doing EXACTLY what he was paid to do. keep your eyes peeled for pictures as soon as keith bothers posting them up!



JULY 30th::: we have another night of cutting edge underground music and some techno as well. [joke!!!!]

tremble and quiver at the AWESOME POWER of the one and only ROB MOORE [Technologic] - a loose cannon, he plays by his own rules and does that thing where you mix several records together in a row really really well. we're delighted to have him down to finish off the night for the downstairs cru - this man can do NO WRONG.

PAUL PRIOR [Collective- Music.com] - not much is known about this mysterious alliterative assassin... it is whispered amongst those in the know that he carries a recordbag of weapons of such AWESOME POWER that buildings quake and strong men weep and gnash their teeth. you have been warned.

RICHARD BROPHY whom you all presumably know from his reviews in DJ magazine [have to say they KICK TEH **** out of Alex C's bollocks drum and bass reviews in the same mag - bring back Ned Denny i say!] - this man, known to many of you from TEST in BODKIN'S as well as his occasional showstealing performance in ELECTRIC CITY, will be using his performance to remind us all that he really should be playing higher up in the lineup. we say: your time will come young padawan.

AS IF that wasnt enough, we have the awesome power of KEITH CUMMINS and CHRIS BONNIE to make your batty shake and your feet tap as you click your fingers to their HUGE collection of kickdrums and clickety-clanky noises.

a real treat for you upstairs - we have one of Ireland's best and most underrated producers ELMO [Looney Tunes, Bassbin] - with several releases under his belt on BASSBIN and sister label LOONY TUNES this man dropped off the radar for a few months to sit and stew in his own juices... With several of his newer tunes getting rewinds at SUBVERSIVE RENAISSANCE [AMSTERDAM] and everywhere they're played it's about time we gave him a gig... this man is a walking, talking, definition of JUNGLE check his radio shows on http://www.powerfm.org [tuesday 10pm-12am] where he showcases all the freshest unreleased dubplates from all around the world. he's a dab hand with a spraycan too and has a fine taste in sandwiches.


EXECUTIVE STEVE ---- is wicked! Women want him, men want to BE him. The man with the biggest hair in jungle. Blowing my own trumpet? *parp*


ALIBONGO [STUDIO B] - you *may* not quite think it to look at him.... but ALI BONGO is a dextrous and rude purveyor of the ruff n tuff stuff.... more lethal than a scorpion sting, he's been bangin them out for years and he still looks like he'd fit in a harry potter movie - we are DELIGHTED to get the boy wonder down - he was a long time player and a big shot in teh glory days gone by of STUDIO B - so he knows the territory... big tings a run right now!

kicking off the evenings proceedings upstairs we have none othr than the inimitable skils of the JOHNNY ILLANJA - none other! This man has more seven inches than ANNABEL CHONG - and he draws DEEP to find them.... CHAMPION SELECTA - When requested to comment about this gig, all he would offer was a text message which i reproduce now in its ENTIRETY.
