    Interested to know, the average age of first time buyers.
    I myself am hoping to lose my FTB status before the end of the year.
    So that puts me in the 26-30 bracket!

    26 now but I'll be damned if I can see how the heck I'm going to be able to buy my own home in the next few years with the insane house prices.

    I'm hoping to have a house bought by the time I'm 30...

    Actually it would be a big help if there was some sort of plague in the next few years and we were left with more houses than people... although that's still no guarantee that house prices will drop...
