Hi folks,

Im in a 6 piece soul band from Laois called the Big Spoon, we're looking to try and get some decent gigs in dublin and anywhere around the country that will have us! Play lots of commitments style soul, james brown, joe cocker, Blues brothers, Bill Withers, Creedance clearwater, Stevie wonder etc. We've played in spots in Portlaoise, Tullamore, Kilkenny, Athy, Thurles and a few others i cant think of. Really want at this stage to get good crowds and decent gigs in some of the bigger places around the country. Havent done anything in dublin either. So anyone any ideas of places we could ask in dub or anyother good soul type venues around the country? Also thinking bout getting a promoter or something to help book us gigs any ideas there?
