Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He wanted to counter the "Micro Soft" claims.

Heh, could be, although the alternative explanation; Longhorn's the name of a bar, AFAIK. Story I was told at a MS conference; there're two mountains in a resort area a lot of Redmond folks take R&R at. One's called Whistler, the other Blackcomb. They're used as codenames by MS - Whistler was the codename for Windows 2000 (or XP, can't recall which), and Blackcomb is the codename for something further down the roadmap (post Longhorn/Vista). The Longhorn bar is in the valley between the two mountains, hence the codename.

The design for Longhorn is very nice I must say, I'm actually using the theme application from the software on my system at the moment. Has a dock station for the desktop ala the Apple systems. The application is BricoPack Longhorn.
I had heard though that the actual LongHorn OS was absolutely diabolical to use though and completely bugged, which is why some guy took the theme of it and released it for use on the Windows XP environment.
