Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pro Tools LE: How can I get rid of the trial pop-ups?

    Hi,
Looking for this info for a mate. He has Pro Tools LE, version 6.9, and I was wondering is there a way to let it load up smoothly, without about 5 box's popping up asking you to either: install their software trial, or to skip it.

Of course, its too costly to buy all the stuff, so I'm looking for a way to stop the pop-ups, maybe with a line in the target box, or something.

Any help would be nice, thanks.

'Cosmonaut', you were wrong to ban 'the_syco'.

When a version of ProTools opens, a bunch of pop-ups asking you to accept a trial version of third-party plug-ins appears. This is not in reference to the actual ProTools program itself. But I understand why you may have thought that.

'the_syco', a quick way to get rid of them is to click the 'Esc' key five times in quick succession as ProTools is loading. This will quickly close all pop-ups upon boot-up.

I've just began a new thread under Audio-Video Editing called 'ProTools'. If you have anymore questions about it's usage, drop a post in there and I'll look into it for you.

I banned Cosmonaut because I am the mod of this board.... he had linked to a crack site. Hence the banning.

Cosmonaut didn't do anything, he is a peon user. I am the overlord. The syco is still able to post.

Ah right. Sorry, I misread that.

I thought Cosmonaut was banning the the_syco.

Please accept my apologies, oh scary overlord - heh
