Just finished Max Payne 2 and thought i'd have a look for some mods for it.
Ended up stumbling across news of Remedy's new game Alan Wake.

There isn't really a whole lot of info on the website, but the trailer looks fantastic.
I loved the photo-realism and the cinematic feel of the Max Payne games, and this certainly looks to be continuing in the same tradition.

Just wondering if anyone else has heard much about this game?

You mean you heard it's coming out on pc and xbox360.
It's also supposed to be available for ps3.
No word of it being available for Nintendo Revolution.

I've watched the trailer a couple of times and it looks great.
I guess we'll be looking at an early to mid 2006 release date.
If they can get it out earlier though and make it available for xbox360 release that might be a great move.

Remembering watching the trailers yesterday, I’m now trying to forget that I’m right beside a graveyard.

Looks really really nice. Although I didn't catch the storyline (just watched the trailers). But who needs a plot when you've got those hillsides/mountains?

That's actually what i was looking for when i found out about Alan Wake.
Well i was searching for mods for MP 2 and it said this was the best one, or one of the best.

I played it briefly, but the bad guys seemed really hard to kill, they were taking way too much damage and that was on the default setting ( medium i think ).

    I might try it again.
