Anybody here ever been to Inistioge Vintage Rally in Kilkenny ?

I see from the IVS website that it is taking place next Sunday - 31st July.

I'm wondering if it will be as big as the Fingal Show, with working displays, etc. ?

I was there several times, but the most recent was probably 10 years ago. It was always a good day with much on display, engines, cars, tractors, donkeys, trashing, you name it, so I presume its only got bigger and better since then.
I wasn't at the Fingal day, so can't compare but it would probably be as big as the Trim vintage show last week, but with a greater variety of displays.
It's actually a beautiful setting on the banks of either the Nore (or Barrow? -excuse my crap knowledge of geography), and the town is very quaint with lots of nice pubs, so its nearly worth the trip for that alone.
Unfortunately, I cant make it, but have fun.

Have been at this show for the last two years and once the weather is good
    its fine.

Lots of stationary engines and other country fair type things.
