Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Chelsea v Arsenal
7th of August - Millenium Stadium Cardiff
    Kick off 3pm

Is anyone heading over for this?

I'm flying out Saturday morning, session in Cardiff city on Saturday night and then boozing all day Sunday for the match. Should be a good match and a great weekend.

Oh and there are still tickets available, they rarely sell out for the Community Shield.

Might I recommend some accommadation near Cardiff.

I was over there for the egg-chasing earlier in the year, and stayed here.

It is a village about 40mins from Cardiff on a bus that runs every hour.

Very nice, an inexpensive as I remember.

Very friendly landlady, who actually brought us into Cardiff and said she'd collect us from the airport and all, and collect us after a night out in Cardiff. Well sound.

Cardiff Airport is actually in Barry and this place isn't too far from Barry.

May I suggest we all meet in the old O'Neills? Not the one on Queens street.

It's almost always an Arsenal allocated pub and has great sing songs before the match...

We're staying in a 4 stay hotel 4 miles from the stadium. 2 nights totalling 125 euro per person, found this little bargin on lastminute.ie during the week!
