Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Want a flight???

I've booked flights over and back on the 17th for the Villa-Spurs match but need to be in London that day. Its cheaper for me to just book new flight to London, but a name change on my Birmingham booking will cost €65 as opposed to €73 for a straight booking.

I'm not looking for any money for myself, I'd just hate to see the money go to Ryanair for nowt.

Any takers? Cost is €65 to Ryanair.

p.s. hope the mods don't object to this, I'll give it a week fromnow on here then post it to the Sale boards. Thanks.

    Meant to add:

    GOING OUT
From Dublin(DUB) to Birmingham Main Term(BHX)
Sat, 17Sep05 Flight FR662 Depart DUB at 06:30 and arrive BHX at 07:35

    COMING BACK
From Birmingham Main Term(BHX) to Dublin(DUB)
Sat, 17Sep05 Flight FR669 Depart BHX at 22:00 and arrive DUB at 22:55

Match is a 17.15 kick-off (Prem Plus) but the airport is 13 miles from Villa Park, so shouldn't be a problem getting there in time.

But for name changes don't Ryanair charge a set fee + the difference between the cost of your original flight and current cheapest price or something?

Not interested, but by way of info, the train from Birmingham Airport to New St is short and cheap, and the train from New St to Witton (Villa Park) is likewise, cheap and under a half an hour.

How much will a name change cost?

There is a name change fee of GBP45.00/EUR65 (or local currency equivalent) per person.

Fair enough, just trying to help. Must be thinking of a change of flight time of something.

Myself and a few buddies did Villa last febuary, quite cheap as well.

    €58 flights Cork Coventry each
£70 return taxi from Coventry airport to Boardsley.
£40 for Formule 1 'hotel' between us for 2 nights.
    Great trip.

Tip for anyone heading to Villa. Go to The Barton Arms bar before the game and eat. Absolutely fantastic food there.

    Sorry, its flight only.

I'm a Spurs season ticket holder and had planned on travelling over for my first away game, but have to be in London that day (only found out a day after booking the bloody Brum flight... )

I've offered it on here because I reckoned if anyone wanted a one-day trip to Brumit would be a Villa fan (or Spurs...)
