looking to get a new stereo for my car that i can hook my iriver up too. Found this on pixmania

    http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/114326/art/h-b/ca-5555-cd-mp3-usb-car-ra.html

Its got 2RCA line inputs so i know i can get a lead to hook the iriver up. The only problem is i don't know what type of lead. Any help??

Also anyone ever hear of this make??

    Thanks :D

dont know anything about the make of stereo but the lead you need is a 2rca phono to 3.5mm jack, that will plug straight into the headphone socket of the i river and into the input on the stereo.

Looking for something like this myself actually - you saved me a lot of hassle thanks! :D

By the looks of that though you could plug your iRiver into the USB port on the front no? So no need for the funny cable? That's what I'm taking from the second product review on the pixmania site anyway...

"I have a 20 gb mp3 player and it works very well with the stereo. It plugs in to the usb port and you can search..."

Page 30. Plug it into the USB port. Might not be able to control the playback from the iRiver though so funny lead might be the way to go after all... hmm...

Presume this yoke could be installed in any car. I've got a '99 Corolla. Stereo is gick so it is... Anybody know if I'd have to get special connectors to hook this thing up or not???
