BT broadband speeds

    I am on bt broadband here in Maynooth 1mb download and 128 upload
    but when I test my connection on http://www.irishisptest.com It says my d/l is 860 kbps and my up/l is only 72.3 kbps I know there are over heads on the connections but my up load seems very low, I play allot on Xbox live and the bad up load speed is killing me. Does anyone else have this problem, or is my connection correct

    Yeah the upload varies from 60K/s to 105K/s with me...but the download on my 2Mbit is always 1.72Mbit/s.

    Mabye eircom is testing the waters for 64K upload....hahaha!!!!

    They better sort it out as it take forever to upload anything on such a useless connection!!!

    Hey, just got my 2mb BB from BT delivered this morn and just finished set-up. Speeds came in as following;

    Download - 1.71mbps :D
    Upload - 69.2mbps :(

    Is this gonna stay this low?

    It appears Im not the only person getting a shít upload speed!!!!

    What other upload speeds are BT customers getting???

    Tried mine just now getting 85 up. Seems to vary a lot . The download is always spot on 1.72 (Anyone on 2meg ever seen it higher?)

    Your complaining about nothing.

    You cant honestly expect to get EXACTLY 128 up do you?

    You dsl'ers have distance from the exchange, contention, internal wiring, signal strength, noise margins and tons of **** to take into account.

    Do you even know what rAdsl is?
