seen a waitress do somthing pretty disgusting in a new franchise of a well known chain, last sunday. should have complained, but will be writing a letter.

are we aloud to name and shame?

also, seen somthing worse in another well known dublin spot.

    put it up here,
    what the hell.

but straight off, why didn't you talk to the manager then and there?
too scared the girl might give you a bad look?

not realy my nature to make a scene i guess, i'd say most people would be the same.

if a mod gives me the ok i'll post it.

i think we should be aloud to name and shame places like this, we're paying through the nose for food as it is.

there was a great article in the slate naming and shaming restaruants that didn't pass on tips to staff (when you tip using your card, it's at the managers descression)

You could say what she did and not name any names.

Yeah but good ice is so hard to come by these days. Dirty biatch should be fired tbh.

Tbh, I would have made a complaint at the time. If she's doing that, whether out of ignorance or laziness, then what other unhygienic practices go on there?

Would be interested to hear if you get a response to your letter, paperclip, and what they have to say about it. In my experience of making written complaints about this kind of stuff (and I've done it a few times as I'm a moany cow :) ) it's rarely even been acknowledged. That's why I'd ask to speak to a manager at the time.

Incidently, what was the 'something worse'?

was in loo, seen chef exit cubicle, not wash his hands, and go back into the kitchen. was one of those set ups where the kitchen is visable.

    hadn't ordered, just walked out.

    i should realy start complaining.

also, good point about the letter, i think i'll ring the manager.

I know what you mean about not wanting to make scene, We seem to be shy when it comes to that. I have noticed however....don't anyone go mad!....that people who are not from Dublin complain more than Dubs. I think its because they are more used to more value for their euro. I know my own mother would voice her displeasure far quicker than I would.

    That chef was disgusting.
