IBB Ripwave + Wired Router

    There are a few threads on this - I have read but not got the answer to my problem.

    I have IBB Ripwave and ST Lab Broadband Router
    This router http://www.clickonit.com/item/196108

    Directly into the computer the IBB ripwave works.

    I hooked up the Router -
    IBB into the WAN port
    My comp into one of the 4 ports.
    Comp is set to DHCP

    I got an address 192.168.1.11
    it set the subnet 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.3 ok

    So i tryed to connect to the device with my browser.
    192.168.1.1 (address in manual)
    Nada - tried port 8080 nada

    No Internet connection
    I can't ping the router or anything else for that matter
    The connection settings seem ok and i get a connected icon.

    Using XP pro
    All cables are working fine.
    The setup works ok using a 3com wireless router
    any ideas?

    Just to add - I disabled all firewalls.
