The Mitsubishi FTO came out in 1994 , IMHO very few coupes even look half as good as this today!!!
Looks fresh and modern while others round this time have dated quite badly

    take a look

I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at one Zener, but for me the definitive Prelude is the gen 4:

The appeal for me was the angular design - the wedge shape if you like. The 4th Gen went all girly and curvy and I hated it. I was offered a 92 2.3i for a song and wouldn't take it. The 5th Gen was a nice balance between the 2 but I still get whiplash every time I see a 3rd gen go by.

The VW Scirocco 16v.. designed in 1974.. I think its a smart enough car for its age. later became the beloved corrado. 8v was a hoot.. just like the golf of same engine. ( yes i like and have driven many VW's - Such as 1990 16V corrado in canary yellow- thats a head turner)

sorry pics are so small.. I'm better in a car than on a computer!!

Nice black Mk2 Scirocco behind me today on the Sallynoggin roundabout. Always preferred the Mk 1, though.

Only thought of the car today as a pristine red Mk11 passed me on Naas Road, Lithuanian reg. Some beauts of cars coming in from continent. Audi quattro's and the like. Such a pity that german cars got sensible after the mid 1990's.

    Audi RS4.. wow
    MK11 Golf GTi.. wow
Newer cars are quick... but no character

For me I would agree with the Calibra, still a great looking car.

The 95 Escort Cossie looks every bit as mean and moody today as it did 10years back.

Someone else said the R34 Skyline. That doesn't count as the R34 is only 5 years old. The original skyline would be 10 years old but that looks pants...

Eh? The Original skyline is 50 years old now!
You mean the R33? or the R32? both of which still look good today.

Sorry CJ, I ment the original skyline would be 10 years old (or more) as in thats the time frame we are talking about, not that it is exactly 10 years old.

The R32 and 33 I was never a fan of really, well ok the 33 wasn't too bad but I really only became a fan when the 34 came out. Stunning looking machine.
