I have a room in my house tee peed with paper as a result of schols. There are staples spilt all over the place, mounds and mounds of photocopies and endless sheets of loose notes....it's going to take me oh so long to clean up, possibly less time if i were to start but eh..meh

It was pointed out to me this evening that everything I set out at the beginning of the year on my unofficial and hastily-cobbled-together-on-a-bus-from-Cork (but no less accurate for it) "Things I Want" list has happened. This is a very, very good feeling, and it (along with a few cans of cider) has inspired me to take a moment to officially appreciate how very, very lucky I am, to note that life is fantastic and amazing and that I love everyone and everything (especially cider), and to generally be obnoxiously upbeat and cheerful while this lasts.

SER launch party last night: it was rather good!

Scholars doing the Macarena,
NCC guys doing the robot / Maddonna impersonations,
Would-be-Economists, Europerson and B.ie 'dancing'
Ser Committee doing Jaegarbombs
Mathematicians looking on and realing what they missed as undergrads.

All in all, a good night!

I'm taking a study break because I'm, well, bored ****eless of geotechnical engineering. So woohoo for excessive study breaks.

I printed it blue; it looks hot.

I was told lecturers are better salesmen of the SER than students.
I gave a speech; one hundred students queued.

I was told to print no more than 300 SER copies, closer to 200 in fact.
I printed 400; we have now sold out.

Totally sold out? Impressive. I was actually going to be in Dublin/trinity tomorrow so was going to see if there was any way to get my hand on a copy, but congrats anyway on selling out.

Is it going to go up on the web straight away so this year if it's sold out?
