I am allowed talk about Arcade Fire surely on this!

In a general sense? Yes. While mentioning the c*****t word you mentioned? ...eh, not so much, given who's running it and all that.

Crash - good woohoo, especially after the ridiculously short window for buying the first time 'round.

Presented at an international conference for the first time. Just a poster but it went well and it's my first outing into the world of real science. Next stop: an article (two being written at the moment and possibly another with my name on it coming out too).

That's really weird - yesterday I was thinking about which TCD boardsies would be likely to win which Nobel Prizes (um it was a long day) and as I was assigning them I started thinking that you'd possibly be the most likely to actually get one. I'm not quite sure what criteria I was using, but there you go.

That sounded a lot less weird in my head by the way.

I figure if they haven't invented one for Journalism by the time I hit 30 I'll just go for the Literature one. Or Economics. And just for the record, yes, I am aware that they can't introduce new categories and that Economics isn't officially a Nobel Prize.

Thats cool - starting final year is scary...

Coming up to the exams is the worst bit I think. Part of me wanted them to hurry up and get started, part of me wanted more time to get more done. Plus, for some unknown reason, I'm still having dreams about final year exams.

Thats what you get for rushing off in the real world and getting yourself a job!

Will you be around at all during Freshers week (beers?)?

Yup, haven't started the job yet though...

I'll most definitely be up for some boozing then. Wanna throw up a thread there? Just to get people's interest perked up.

I saw John Kealy of Fury of Tim today. He was walking out of a shopping centre with a little suitcase and headphones on.

I waved, he either saw me not or conveniently ignored me.

I'm also just back from seeing Delorentos near said shopping centre. They were good.
