I'm back from the DU Orchestra Society concert. They were on top form, and it was very enjoyable. It has me very happy, along with something else I won't go into here.

In keeping with the "woohoo for TCD at intervarsities" theme (and arguably the "West Britain" theme), the Hist won the Irish Times on Friday night! And we had a team in the final of the Limerick IV today (which I was on, so bonus woohoo!), and though we didn't win, my teammate did get Best Speaker in the final. Generally a good weekend for TCD debating!

    To sum up:

    Trinity won the
    -Fencing
    -Shooting
    -Boxing
    -Debating intervarsities

    Go us!

May I recommend you to the Personal Issues forum, as you obviously have some sort of issue with others displaying happiness along with their success in their chosen field.

Alternatively, I invite you to name every single IV Trinity lost, just so you can put a sufficient dampner on our unrealistically high spirits. Either that, or just go away.

You could organise a boards beer to get sponsorship for it. I thought about it but my back has been a bit dodgy since I injured it last November, so I dunno whether I could commit to a week's labour (as much as I'd love to do it).

    ^^isn't meant to sound sarcastic.

I could chuck a few quid your way. Now dance, monkey, dance.

I'll throw a few quid your way if you end up on it - fantastic project and one i've considered a number of times. good work joe.

Hooray, done for the term! Woo hoo!

Look at the photography of Ninagawa Mika for some beauty, she's an incredible photographer- amazingly saturated colours.

Off note: What the heck happened to Andrew Byrne? He's looking....pretty good these days.

That we had \o/. I had a great day. Lunch with my parents transpired to be lunch with (almost) all my family and presents and cake were to be had. Then, despite my family's unusually large number of nodes, cake was still to be had so between 4pm and 6pm ten friends came over for cake. And there's still some more to be had.

....and then I went back to typing my essay, but that's okay too.
