I've just remembered how nice beer is... OK, it's only been two weeks of the planned month of no alcohol, but FYP work has been going well this weekend and decided to take it easy for a night :)

Not looking forward to hung over running in the morning!

I hope you used proper chocolate and not cooking chocolate, people who use cooking chocolate for rice crispie buns are the devil. I highly recommend using melted Mars bars for them too. Stickier but delicious.

Hee, zaraba's drunk or, if not quite, drinking enough to warrant a Boards post. Always fun.

Funny you should say that. I am looking quite lucifer-esque these days.

Does it help that I used dark chocolate?

****. Twixt smoking and using cooking chocolate, I'll never win poster of the year.

It's very easy to lie on the internet. It's usually how people win those things.

Just say "Oh, actually I did use real chocoloate, it was a melted down easter egg in fact."

And something like "I've given up smoking now, for good."

    Go on, try it.

Damn 3 weeks off has made me even more lazy than i usually am..

Writing a mere sentence or reading a mere paragraph has become a chore :D

Woo hoo: My FYP is nearly done!!

Rant: Went to visit my supervisor today to see how he was getting on reading my final draft. He asked when it was due, I said Monday, he said "oh, right".

Woo hoo: Don't really care about the rant, cos it's nearly done and he seemed pretty happy with what he had read :)

Babies ftw! Little tiny new-born babies!!

In other words, my sister pushed one out. A little girl, this morning :).

I don't know what she looks like, nor what her name is (she doesn't have one yet), but I'm looking forward to the second I see her and instantly love her forever. Best feeling ever. As I said, babies ftw!

That post was in honour of Aoibhín. This one is for a new little girl. Today my other sister pushed a little cousin for Aoibhín out :). This one's mammy is my Godmother so I imagine I'm going to get roped into babysitting duties regularly enough.

I now have five nieces and nephews. Only me and my brother are left childless at this stage, and I'm the only one not married off. Jayney we're getting old!

    Woohoo!!

Got my project back from my supervisor this evening, and in over 60 pages of work he only wants 3 typos changed :)

Gotta get the printer warmed up!

    [Woohoos]
    1. People are, generally, lovely.
    2. I had a good laugh at the three girls walking down Nassau Street singing a song, whose recurrent line was "We are the sluts".
    3. I like having my exam timetable.
    4. Self-congratulatory ice cream is good.
