I've spent the afternoon playing with my dog.

I saw the Provost crossing College Park today, and he had a very fetching trench coat. He really is most fashionable.

haha i saw him in that coat too one day. in fact it was the first time i ever saw him, "in real life" - he walked around a corner, i saw him and in my head i said, ooo there's the provost but i just made eye contact and then he looked at me and did one of those semi-smiles reserved for people in authority who your don't see in public much- which translated into english goes "hello i'm your provost, i'm walking around to get with the student groove, yeah".

    hmmm like this....

I pray that this may occur in my full view.

Why doesn't the fencing club hold duels in the front square? I would love to see that and I bet the tourists would too. :)

Or some sort of Knights of the Round table re-enactment.

Some tourists got to see some 'interesting' Knight action in Front square all right one time...

Had I been wearing one, I would have, of course. I tend not to wear head-wear though.

    Sounds good to me.

Doyles? Pav? My gaf? (It will be clean by Wednesday on account of those damn room inspections!)

I should be able to get zaraba and europerson to go. B.ie curious might need a little more persuading.

Pav. How will I know who I'm looking for though? We can't have five men wandering around with roses in a copy of Wuthering Heights now, can we?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,452 ✭✭✭Time Magazine

    PM sent.

Sounds good.. but will be 9.30 at the earliest for me.

Hmm.. I'll be the guy drinking WKDblue.. that should narrow it down...

Although, come to think of it, that would make a funny improv- five guys with a rose in the same book looking for the same woman. Confusion ensues, fencing swords are produced and the cricket pitch becomes a stage for a five way duel....

    A woo-hoo for you I have.

I recently got Labour Party leader Eamon Gilmore to speak at SU Council. The 5 minute Q&A session turned into 15 minutes, including one question that got the better of him. Also, he spoke really well and was very interesting.

Even better, Labour press released his speech which is accesible here!

    :)

Also, went to the CSC Ball and the Science Ball. Absolutely shattered but two great nights!

As would I. Having never been to a TCD Boards event of any kind, and running out of time to get to one, I really need to get to one.

Good for me: I have the Economics of Food Markets part-ay before that, so I'll already be pumping.

I could also decide for myself, as shown earlier in this post. I am a most enthusiastic chap, remember.

    Just to explain: zaraba's a library-kid.
Hmm.. I'll be the guy drinking WKDblue.. that should narrow it down...
I thought you were over that phase.

Stranger things have happened, most notably my hair today.

And so say all of us.
