    Recipe:

Normandy low fat creme fraiche (from Tesco, 99c)
Bourneville 100% cocoa powder (€1.65 from Tesco)
    Sugar.

About a cup of the first, a tablespoonful of the second and the third to taste.

Amazing. I highly suggest you try, then berate me when you find out just how addictive it is.
Although I wouldn't say no to some wine....hmmmm.....wine....

That sounds amazingly moreish. I may try that before Wednesday night, and we shall have a discussion!

Made a mistake- it's fromage frais, not creme fraiche, but no less moreish.
Everyone try it before Wednesday and we can have a wonderful culinary discussion. :)

Low fat... adding sugar. The (admittedly drunken) mind boggles. It's like wearing shin pads, then running in front of a train.

Remove shin pads, enjoy the beautiful taste wholesome good insulin-neutral fat imparts. Don't jump in front of trains. Bad.

They didn't have the full fat version! At least the whole thing comes to slightly less calories wise..... good for midweek treats, I like to save the full fat stuff for the weekend :)

    Wed at 8.30pm?

    I am now double-booked.

I've to attend a party and a draw at 8pm. Though I reckon I'll make it to both, they're in the same place :)

I'm not going until ibid answers my question.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,452 ✭✭✭Time Magazine

    Why? I'm a fun-loving party boy/mad yoke.

Because you've always been a gimp with Boards Beers in days gone by.

I don't think I've ever been invited to one before.

Anyway, it turns out I can't go. Apologies.

You walked right past me in the Berkeley today.

I also saw europerson today. I was in a bit of a rush and I knew he was on his way to a lecture (R.I.P. EC4040) so we shook hands without saying a word and kept walking. Very amusing for passers-by, I'm sure.

How do you know what I look like?? Although I guess penguins aren't difficult to spot in the tropical heat of the Berkeley these days...

woohoo: 3 receptions- one tonight, one tomorrow night (wine reception) and yet another one afterwards to meet you all in the pav. :) Twill be fun.

....ok, tell me how you know how you knew it was me. Or are you just trying to psych me? On the other hand, I rarely go to the Berkeley and I was there today. But then again, that could have been a lucky guess. Where's a tin foil hat when you need one?! Oh, here it is, on a penguin no less:

Rant: Just looked at the who's who thread and now I feel ancient. :(

I think I saw you too, actually, but maybe not. :) What concerns me is how you know me. I'm not exactly all over the place, known by all! Did Ibid provide you with a photo or a Facebook link to help you in finding us?

As Ibid explained, I saw him amusingly this morning, and we've just had a lecture together.

Easy. I just asked the Student Records Office to print me off a copy of your student card.

Ah, so that explains it. I've spent the whole of today thinking you're a rude ass for not saying hello this morning.

Woohoo for a daycent result for my ag project. 2 measely more points and it would have been a fupping fantastic result, accompanied by celebrations with a bottle of Jager, but a good result all the same.

To add another to the (now far-back) list of IV titles for Trinity this year: paintball (or, more specifically, speedball) is ours for, to the best of my knowledge, the first time ever. Of course, DUCAC won't recognise the paintball team so it's technically not a sporting victory, but still...

Are people still on for the Pav tonight? Can I come? I'm very tempted to go drinking, even though I don't think my liver has recovered from last week's excesses ;)

I never thought I'd say a sentence like this before but now that my head is clearing up: I had fun last night at the student economic review party thing. Thank you Ibid, Gilroyb, b.ie curious and europerson for contributing to that enjoyment.

Er, yeah, sorry for going off the deep end towards the end. And the missus asked me to extend her apologies as well. The pair of us are such moody drunks.

Woohoo for half price marks and spencers. it was cheaper than the McDonalds eurosaver option I was mulling over, and a bazillion times nicer. Although it did contain rice. Now I'll have to go to the gym tomorrow.
