Don't know where else to post this but...

Matt the Jap just walked into the Pubs Office. The following (written) conversation took place

MatttheJap: Are you Christine Bohan? Can I get nude photographs of candidates?
Me: I don't have them, sorry. We only have censored ones*
Matt: Where did you get them?
Me: They were on a personal internet site, we don't know who actually took them
Matt: Tom Dillon told me that you would have them
Me: Sorry, I definitely don't have them. Why do you want them?
Matt: Nudity interests me. Why are you laughing?
Me: Because it's funny! I don't know if the boys would be happy if we gave out pictures of them naked
Matt: You know me. I wouldn't show them to anyone else. It would be top secret

And on and on for another four pages. Haven't laughed this much in ages! What do you think? Should we give him the photos?

    * That is of course a lie

    lmao... :D

Ah the french/japanese, they just don't get it. Or maybe we don't.. Eitherway there's definitely a fundamental difference in the whole attitude to impure thoughts.

I say give 'em to him, what's the harm?

    I'm a bit confused..
"but I don't want to see those boys naked!" did he say that too?

No that was just my own thoughts on the matter. Matt was very definitely pro-nudity :D

You just had to bring it down, didn't you. We can't bring you anywhere.

And what's this about naked photos of them? Wuh?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,196 ✭✭✭✭Crash

The slave auction photos i would assume.

and to think, nobody bidded for me to drop my boxers :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,945 ✭✭✭cuckoo

There's video footage somewhere out there of the evening's naked 'highlights' as well. From what various ppl have told me (i missed the auction, and have only seen the censored photos - which were curiously mesmerising) d/loading them wouldn't take up much bandwidth, if you know what i mean (nudge, nudge, wink, etc.).

Fair play to him for asking though; nothing ventured, nothing gained.

How much money did the slave auction make?

    Was there any female nudity?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,523 ✭✭✭ApeXaviour

    lol

As I sit here in the hamilton computer rooms, avoiding study when I should be drinking, or avoiding drinking when I should studying (which ever way you want to look at it), an amusing incident occurs. The door handle to the room starts doing what door handles tend to do when people try enter. Except it was doing it repeatedly with nobody entering, instead a strange banging noise kept emanating from it. Eventually this tireless effort seemed to desist and I figured I'd go investigate on the pretence of going to the toilet. There standing outside looking rather frustrated is someone I recognise as a hamilton end student. He thanks me and proceeds to successfully enter the computer room.

    It wasn't locked...

One is reminded of the gary larson cartoon:

haha brilliant, love when that happens*

*and person trying to open the door isn't me

I'm really enjoying the 'what is a hack?' thread.

But, more pertinent to this thread, i got some amazingly good sleep last night. :D And, i didn't have to leave the nice, not wet, not sleeting, not cold indoors today as i bought milk, etc last night.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,579 ✭✭✭Pet

I too got some glorious sleep last night, although I was so comfy in bed that I completely overslept. I tend to binge and purge on sleep - I've definitely got a sleeping disorder. :(

    GG bed binging.

Some one I know had a pair of them. They're pretty cool all right. I love the sound of them when they make contact. I'm going to sample it. And time stretch it.

    Sweet. Hamilton has hot chocolate.

On a side note, I'm always confused by vending machines with cookies in them - especially when the cookie at the top of the machine (which results in more of a distance to fall, and therefore breaks up more). Plus its a euro. Bah.

the poles are organised as such they can't really roll to one another if you hold one, as it starts to roll the poles alternate, so it starts spinning and going mad, looks cool :)

I've just seen the second half of Ireland's Triple Crown victory over England. It was a great game of Rugby. I'm in a good mood now!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,391 ✭✭✭arbeitsscheuer

Fantastic win - my bruv was up for England and I (as ever) was cheerin for Ireland, so it got quite heated, to say the least...

Amazing last-gasp try from Horgan, how he managed to stay in I'll never know, fantastic athletic ability.

P.S. UCD forum tries again to copy trinners' 'woohoo'/anti-moan thread. Seb looks at it, laughs caustically, and stays in trinners' one. UCD one fails. QED

Yis beat TCD in the boat race today.

Note: I would not have known this had my bus not followed the two boats all the way up the quays this afternoon. And got to o connel bridge just in time to see UCD win at and hear it announced on loud speaker, much to the delight of all the tourists blocking traffic..

After much head scratching, my FYP has stopped segfaulting and corrupting the heap.

    (That's a good thing)
