    ?

Woh? He was nearly thirty and playing a 17-year old. It totally ruined the film for me.

Only other John Hughes film i've seen is ferris bueller - in fact its in my film collection and sitting over in the corner. was very tempted to watch it directly afterwards :P

Yes. I think you'll find that I was, in fact, taking the proverbial mick.

Anyway crash, films of this nature you have to see:
    St. Elmo's Fire
    Weird Science
    Sixteen Candles
    Pretty in Pink

Fantastic films, with the possible of exception of Pretty in Pink (I just hate the ending so much).

But he's still got that intense, soulful vibe about him. Faux teenagers are pretty much the standard anyways, Dawson was hanging around that creek of his with a zimmer frame tucked under one arm, the cast of beverly hills 90210 seemed old enough to have a few teenaged children and the OC is the Old Crowd.

Breakfast club was (still is) so fantastic... And Juddie was only 26 during filming, so nyah! He was a great teenager, but SERIOUSLY flipped it around for St. Elmo's the year after, 'twas like the polar opposite of type-casting an actor!

Donal, I need to get one of those pigs. My dad had one as a mascot and I beheaded it, to see how easy it would be to tear, I regretted it the instant the severed head hit the ground.

haha cool, is there one for everyone in the audience?

    cuckoo wtf u doing up?

Rant: woke up crazy early and couldn't get back to sleep.

Aim: to embrace this new day and get a wonderous amount of stuff done

Reality (so far): an hour spent dossing around on the internet, and 6 rows of knitting done.

Future plan: to make some porridge, and eat it while watching an episode of Stargate Atlantis, and then get some study done

Long term future plan: to have Major (or whatever he's been promoted to) Shepherd's babies.

Over the past few months or so, I've started to have grave reservations about being Education Officer. This finally came to a head this week, under personal circumstances. As a result, I have now formally submitted my resignation as Education Officer of the Students' Union for 2005/6, and thank you for all your support and kindness during the year.

    Best of luck,

    Dónal
