I got a job as a tour guide in Mellifont Abbey. It's not the most relevant job, but it's handy to get to, since it's just a few miles from where I live.

I had applied for the Revenue Commissioners too and with FBD. Revenue just sent me a letter acknowledging my application and I heard nothing from them since. I really disliked their online application system. It wouldn't even let me tell them I was in college.

Congrats on the job. Perfectly suited.

The folks in the Revenue Commission are dead nice over the phone. They can tell instantly by that tone of desperation in your voice that you don't have a clue and will then practically hold your hand through whatever it is you're doing.

I'm done. I've a viva on Friday week and I'll get my results that day. Although, it's not really a woohoo as I'm quite sad to be finished college. I don't want to leave.

If there were a top 10 of woo hoos that'd be in it. Good call. Those printed dates have saved me from breaking open many a historic egg - and the resulting nausea at the smell.

Unfortunately when one gets the munchies one is usually not in fit enough condition to even know what year it is. This can lead to a terrible mess.

Now a talking egg that told you when it is out of date would be something.

Went down to the Supreme Court today to see the State's appeal in the Mr. A case. Our law lecturer was there representing the State (fighting a losing battle I would say).

Got some evil stares from people dressed in suits (a t-shirt really stands out in the Supreme Court) woot! :D

Not so much of a losing battle it would seem...

Indeed - there's a discussion going on in the legal forum right now.

Well at least Dr. Hogan will be happy tonight! Might prepare him if he loses the lesbian couple case (coming soon!)

Probably the latter. John2 is currently experiencing 'being finished College'. It's next to the 'Trinity Experience' on the list of experiences, wherever that is.

It's right next to the 'Jimmy Hendrix Experience'

Cool job, I'd love something like that. My job bores me already, and there's eleven weeks of my placement left.

Word to that. I could do with the money they're offering, my placement pays nothing like that.

w00t: Had my handbag stolen during the week (complete disaster, nearly had a panic attack when I realised) and completely unexpectedly, my mum offeered to send me a repacement-of-stuff cash pressie. And ended up sending me way more than she's suggested, cos she was so happy I was ok. :D

Best of all, mini-me (my little sis) is staying with me next weekend. First time in nearly two years. Cant wait! :D
