I was only thinking of that ad the day before yesterday. A friend of mine was over from Holland and he was showing me photos of his trip to San Francisco. He had a picture of his wife standing on the street on that ad with all the multicoloured bouncing balls bouncing down the hill. I asked him why he didn't recreate the chase from Bullitt and he said that he hadn't thought of that

I was listening to the song from the multicoloured bouncing ball ad today.

The World Cup starts today! Major f**king W00TAGE!!!

However, this will probably mean not having a social life for the next two weeks, at least. 3 games a day, 2pm to 10pm...
    It's full-time stuff, being a football fan!

    Jose Gonzalez - Heartbeats.

fantastic album as well - probably one of the better acoustic albums i've come across so far this year...

Aye, not too bad for something that doesn't involve ten minute guitar solos or singing of mighty battles. Or leather pants. Or twelve foot tall walking zombie robots.

England off to a winning start, Trinidad & Tobago's ten men bag a valiant and impressive draw, and finally my Fantasy World Cup team has points on the board (thank you Abbondanzieri, Burdisso, Cuevas and Cesar Caceres).

Now if only it hadn't taken 3 transfers to accomplish that...

P.S. Well done Shaka Hislop. Legend.

My manager has gone on his month-long leave, which means a) extra hours and b) one of my incredibly sound co-minions getting promoted to acting manager. I may not be able to bitch about work for the next few weeks...weird.

    Woo!

Used my new credit card for the first time today!

Used it to buy a flight home from Berlin.

Going over for a simultaneous lesbian pride parade, techno fest, and birthday bash!

    Woo!

I can't find a way of typing this but its the wahwah sound when someone makes a terrible pun/thinks they're great after syaing something but really isn't. Used in t.v. shows for added effect and such. Anyway said sound applys to above quote.

Or it can be said in smilies. Yeah but everyone, except you and possibly Indy got all concerned that I'd choke myself and then it was taken off my neck. :rolleyes:/:o

    Never been before.

I'm digging up all my old LC German books so I can order food without having to point to table next to me and asking for whatever they're having.

Must remember to pack my yellow sunglasses...

I don't speak German at all, I either point to the menu and say "Bitte!" or else order in English as pretty much everyone has great English. I wish I could speak German though.

Or just order it in german, and tack "bitte" onto the end - hell if you have a good ear you can understand most functional german ever - its all about context.
