Just watched some special on Nationwide on this farm down in Cork that keeps llamas and lets people take them on walks. Don't know if this is a woohoo from the warm fuzzies (llamas are surprisingly cute, as pets go) or a moan about my lack of pet llamas, so I figured I'd err on the positive side. So yay!
Turning 20 was a bit of a shock for me I must say.

I still forget I'm 19 sometimes. It feels way too old. I still have a mental age of about 5.

Indeed, Pinky. Elmyra should be texting you right about nowish, so assuming you're not mortgaging your soul in that ghastly stench-pit ('call centre' indeed) tomorrow, we can get our whole "triumvirate of power" thing going again.

I'm aware that we're weird. I take consolation in the fact that we're still less weird than AngryB/europerson/b.ie_curious.

I can now confirm that I am leaving TCD. I have been offered and accepted the PhD position in Maynooth. I am very sad to be leaving TCD as I really loved my time there but it's time to move on.

Good luck, watch out for the priests that dwell in the forest and come out at night to feed on the young.

It's going to be called DURNS: The Steel Wheelchair Tour. I plan to bring DURNS's unique brand of barminess to the wilds of Maynooth with me. I may even pack the legendary John Ryder in my bag.
