Is there a specific job that gym pants should be doing? Actually, on that note, what the hell are "gym pants"?
    1) They're dead comfy. Soooo soft.
    2) Their flexibility is perfect for jogging (I think its pornounced "yogging") and cycling
    3) They were expensive enough to motivate me to get value for money by going to the gym thrice so far this week, and I'm going again as soon as I've finished b.ie-ing

Gym pants are trackies. Worn only by rugger-buggers and povs. If you see me at all in the coming weeks I will most likely be wearing them.

My brother won his third IFTA last night :).

I hope he remembered to thank his wife this time.

    Congratulations to him!

I'm back from having a lovely time in Paris. I didn't like it at first, but, then, I kind of fell in love with it.

Welcome home! We have to meet tomorrow at 11am to do an Industrial presentation, it's on Wednesday.

two 5000 word essays done and dusted. Well, first drafts done anyway. At this time of night that's a definite Woo-hoo for me.

I should probably go to the rant thread to bemoan the fact that while completed, the essays are terrible, but I think rather than dwelling on these terrible examples of 'International Political Economy', I'm going to head to bed for a week.

I was on the tour of the Provost's House today. It's cool: really worth a look.

There was one today and there will be one tomorrow as part of the Trinity Arts Festival. I think tomorrow's is booked out though.

Hee hee, I have been walking up to the Ussher 4th floor for the past few weeks instead of taking the lift as a bit of a new years resolution. I managed to beat the elevator to the 4th floor today by walking, though it did stop on the third floor to let someone on.

Major whoo-hooage: I just got chosen to go on a 4 day all-expenses-paid trip to Brussels to learn about the EU and write some stories about it!

Sounds like my own personal hell, only without Mariah Carey.

    Define all-expenses.

TAF architectural tours: the Provost's House on Tuesday was great, and today I found a whole new area of the East End I never knew was there.

Trinity won the SER debate :).

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,523 ✭✭✭ApeXaviour

^ SER apparently means student economic review to all us normal people. Though I know that doesn't help much. They all wear suits though...

I learned that astrophysicists can drink and be merry just like us normal ones, and they tend to be very nice. Why should I stereotype people who do 90% the same course as me?

    because you're mildly autistic.

stereotyping is fun and helps with slagging ?

You only think that because I act strange/awkward around you. And that's only because you're so very unnerving :p

That's the most likely cause I'd imagine.

I've only ever drank with the astrophysicists. They're a great bunch. They make learning about the earth's magnetic field fun using beer-mat diagrams. Although, I was almost kicked out of Physoc for questioning whether the moon landing was a hoax or not.

Can't wait for the table quiz [plug]next tuesday[/plug]. I haven't had a chance to get blindingly drunk in the Pav for quite some time.
