    2 questions really...

    1. Anyone know where the atrun command is in the directory sturcture?
    2. Whats the file to change the login text thats displayed when you are prompted to login? is it /etc/rc.d/rc.local or
    rc.localrpms?

file containing login text is normally in "/etc/profile" i think, although it totally depends on what distribution of linux you have.

    look for a line like
    "more /etc/zzz > /etc/issue"
    followed by
    "echo < /etc/issue" somewhere

totally depends on distribution of linux though.

DAve you Motherless Son of A goat! - anyway dont change /etc/issue as redhat overwrites it on each boot. You can change it in /etc/rc.d/rc.local - or just rip out the bit that does the overwrite - easy peazy my friend smile.gif

to find where a command is stored type

"whereis atrun" or "which atrun" or a locate atrun if youve updatedb'ed lately
