    I am looking to get a few games for the Pc, I am not a big gamer by any means, I am getting a loan of Brothers in Arms tonight..... Halo/ doom arent my type of game. Anyone have any that will get me hooked?

    You might try Sid Meiers Pirates...bought it ages ago and never really played it until now. Its not bad, though its a pain in the arse sailing from Mexico back to the Carribean Islands, with all the tacking back and forth into the wind. Havent yet got involved in attempting to storm towns, but theres apparently some sort of RTS under the hood as well.

    And yes, Brother in Arms and all those other WW2 shooters are cock.

    Not really a fps, more story-driven + choices, lots of moral and point-of-view choices, excellent stuff

    Invisable war is awful, get the origional Dues Ex, 20 times the game the sequal was.

    Oh and Rome:Total War is your friend, so is Starcraft :)

    He basically says he is not interested in FPSs and all you do is suggest FPSs...


    And Generals is a great game.. Zero Hour is brill in multiplayer..
