Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

beller_b: eh I dont know which mcdonalds you go to...
But Ive been to a few here in the states, and one in Ireland, and I found their wireless to be excellent.
It was professionally deployed, multiple access points and had a MAC timelimit system.

Perhaps you simply connected to a random unsecured wireless network in the area.

    Depends on the place.
Some use eircom/orange/etc hotspots, where the cost is astronomical and you pay by CC.
Some just require you to put in a code from your receipt.
Some are just open and allow anybody in the vicinity to log on.
Tbh, these completely free, non authentication systems are getting very popular in the USA. most cafes have wifi, and the ones that offer it free are doing great business.
