    Does any know or recommend software that allows you to record packages, as I am trying to make a basic tutorial multimedia cd. I want to be able to record step by step instructions while I move the mouse around the screen. Thanks in advance.

    I read this as you want a movie file of your actions (as opposed to Automate-esque programs that record your actions and reenact those actions on playback )

    Camstudio converts to AVI so might be easier for editing or conversion to other formats.

    yeah that is exactly what I am looking for, basically software to record a mini movie of my actions.
