    Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this, feel free to delete. This is not spam..

    Technolotics, a new Irish podcast, needs presenting talent while our co-host is away for several weeks; with a possibility of a permanent position. We do a weekly (just started), 30 minute show; focusing on technology and politics - in a light hearted but confrontational manner.

    We're looking for someone to fill in a co-host position. This is not a job as such, as it would be completely voluntary.

    The person we're looking for doesn't have to...
    * Be a programmer
    * Be interested in Irish politics as a whole
    * Use Gentoo Linux / insert geeky OS here
    * Be a kiss ass

    You should however be
    * Articulate
    * Intelligent
    * Interested in technology, civil liberties and new media (blogging, podcasting etc)
    * concerned by the way in which laws are being imposed to restricts and remove the freedom to communicate and create (e.g.: anonymous communication, Grey album) that new technologies have fostered.
    * unafraid to be confrontational in a public medium
    * have 1 evening a week free and live in or within commutable distance of central Dublin
    * keep reasonably up to date with technology news

    Get in touch with us at
    technolotics AT dbspin.com

    Take care,
    Gareth

    I thought with a podcast you could be Geography neutral?

    Not for the recording part. Unless you're willing to use skype (ala TWIT) which isn't really high enough quality / reliable enough for broadcast yet.
