iPod repair?

Just wondering what my best options are for repairing my 20gb 3rd gen iPod... it's just the display and backlight that seems to be knackered ever since she went for a little swim (was in a rush leaving work one night and threw it into my bag along with an open bottle of water :o ) i've looked on ebay for replacement parts…

i wouldn't want to pay much more than €70 tbh. i might as well just buy a new 5th gen model if i'm gonna be spending any more than that
