Actually gonna look at this when I get home, sorry for wiping out the previous post. It wasn't up to scratch though. I'll repost a better version later on.

    Hey Guys,

Any chance one of ye could rustle up an ol' sig for the Boards Stand Up night?

    -Neptune Bar (Lr Abbey St)
    -Sat Dec 5th
    -Featuring boards Comedians
-Admission Free (Collection on the night in aid of the SSF)

    Cheers.

    This any good?

I think this thread should be restarted to help sig makers make there sigs better. Using this outline:

    Size/dimensions]: If other than default.
[Images to be used/links]: Please provide links. (This is a good choice).
    [Colours]: red/black/grey background, black font
[Font]: If you have a preference, example: Morpheus
[Text/Quote/Name]: Anything you wish your graphics to say?
[Style]: Any specific style of graphics (grunge, brushing, soft blending...)?
[Border]: Do you want one/which style?
[Animation]: If yes, what kind of animation?

Do I have support for this?

Am.. that seems a whole lot of complicated. While yes I agree it's good to standardise what info etc. you need but the average request is quite simple really and maybe no need for such detail. People who don't have the programmes often don't know what effect they want (grunge, brushing, etc.)

I might be after picking this up wrong, apologies if I have!

[Size/dimensions]: How large do you want the image to be?
[Images to be used/links]: Please provide links. (This is a good choice if you don't have an image already).
[Font]: If you have a preference, example: Times New Roman
[Text/Quote/Name]: What do you want the image to say?
[Style] Any preference to how the image looks?
[Border]: Do you want one/which style?
[Animation]: If yes, what kind of animation?

That seems rather simple to me. Plus it'd be easier for a sigger to make an image if that was filled out.

Btw, this format is similar to the one we use on the OGame forums (http://board.ogame.org/index.php?page=Board&boardID=215&84775bf50) and it works very well there.

The text needs a bit of work, but let us know what you think anyway. Sorry not a web guy, so text in images freaks me out.

Hmmm... could probably do the Stand Up Night larger too?

    - Featuring boards Comedians (this bit isnt really necessary imo)
-Admission Free (Collection on the night in aid of the SSF)

and seeing as its boards could we add the tag line: "now ye're laughin"

here is an example of last years (but orestes isnt here this year so i dont think we need jesus!) i think the type and everything is perfect (except the date)

Could this be re sized for my sig please, I'm changing it for a while.

Anybody fancy doing something with this?

    Motorsmeets.jpg

Motors meets needs to be changed to Motors Offline, so I'd imagine the whole thing would need to be re jigged a bit to make it look nice as "Offline" wont fit in nicely where "Meets" is

    Looking for some sig help.

Can anyone put together a cool & amusing sig for R&R now that it's gone private?

Something the Ranters can display with pride to let others know the forum still exists.

    cheers.

    Hi Guys -

We're running an Xbox Call Of Duty tournament, starting in April.
Any chance someone could knock up a sig as a way to get more attention please?

The social group is here for anyone interested: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/group.php?groupid=217

I know it's a lot to ask, so no worries, but thanks in advance if someone can help out.

    Hi, new to here...

We're having a Ladies Meet-Up for the Galway boardsies (females obviously!) on April 9th in the Cottage Bar in Salthill. Is this where I ask for a nice little picture thingey with those details? If so, great!

    http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055856433

Maybe something pink and black but not really Sex and the City ish?? It will involve wine and cake..:)

    Hey lads.

Would someone be able to make a sig to promote this debate? - http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=123670627669517

Would need to have the date and location on it.

If I ever meet you at a future Beers, it'll be worth a pint.:)

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=511

One for each genre would be nice! :D
