im of the serious opinion that keybroads have no place whatsoever in punk music. they are a catastrophy of sound and a abonimation to mankind and music in general. how can we cleanse society of the keybroad scurge eh

    HI NOW!
No " Yore Ma" jokes around here mofo!!11 (disclaimer: mofo is in no way related to anyone's mother or any acts of "stuff" concerning those mothers that "mofo" is not related to).

Anyway, Keyboards are used for the organ effect in quite a few songs by punk bands. Franco Un-American and quite a bit of Rancid stuff use it for the reggae end of the stick quite well.

not trying to stir it up or anything, but if memory serves, London Calling had plenty on it...and BRASS!!!

That was accepted as a punk album, right...

I thought it was a spelling mistake at first. They word is Keyboards not Keybroads.

Anyway, I actually happen to quite like keyboards (or piano) in some punk songs.

Keyboards rock, but only when you play them standing up with a strap.
