Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Getting rid of Symantec Antivirus

    Hi all

This is getting my head wrecked. My friend got a pc from office and it has Symantec Antivirus installed.

No more virus definition update coz it's no longer connected to NAV server. I wanna get rid of it and install free AV.

The problem is uninstaller require me uninstall password. The default uninstall password no longer works, I think the IT guys replace with their own.

Failing the uninstallation, I tried to disable all process related to Symantec and install Avast but Avast doesn't want to run coz it still detects Symantec running.

Deleting Symantec program folders and tweaking with registry is also an option but too much work?

I'm thinking of reformating the machine but that'd be the last choice.

    Any ideas?
