Yeah but Leeway B000000CFY.jpg had the name and albums out over 10 years before Leeway from Fundalk. Besides, don't half of Leeway from Fundalk play in a RATM cover band? Isn't it inevitable that they're so into pretending to being Tom Morello they will write something so Tom Morello that eventually Tom Morello will write it too? :p Creepy

Anyway, who thinks this old Bleak House NWOBHM song sounds like this not as old Metallica song? :)

****ing hell DoctorJ! That's an unreal song. I have to say, the singer does whine a bit though.

The whole of the Kingdom Come debut album is a complete rip off of Led Zeppelin.

Also Marilyn Manson had a song out a while ago(cant remember the name!) that was a rip off of Be Aggressive by Faith No More.

Lyla - that new song by Oasis - is just the Rolling Stones' Street Fighting Man with different lyrics.

Rage Against The Machine - Wake Up is a blatant rip off of Led Zeppelin's Kashmir

Puff Daddy's song Come with me wasn't a rip off of Kashmir-it was a sample, and it had Jimmy Page playing on it.

A funny one is Lordi's The Devil Is A loser, the start of it sounds very like the opening to Metallica's Enter Sandman

I think the riff in Deftones My Own Summer is a rip of a Biohazard song from Urban Discipline, can't remember the name for the life of me though.

It's on Reload, back in 97

SOAD- BYOB the beginning is identical to Megadeth's Rattlehead.

Nirvana's "Breed" off of Nevermind is strikingly similar to RATM's "Sleep Now in the Fire" from The Battle of Los Angeles. Different scale and a little difference in speed but it's the same basic tune...

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,483 ✭✭✭Töpher

Smashing Pumpkins -Today; sounds exactly like an old song that I can't for the life of me remember the name of! Well, everything except the high pitched bit is almost identical!

OK, it's not a song, but the video to sum41's "The Hell song" (the one with the finger puppets in it) is a hell of a lot like Bad religion "New America" video.......
