not sure if this is the place to put this but I was thinking of getting a interior design person to redesign my home. I dont have loads of money (it sounds so posh) but I believe that it would be money well spent instead of making costly mistakes. I am planning a small extension and really need help designing it. does anyone have any good recommendations. thanks :o

Hi - I live in Cork in a crappy three bed semi-d. I will confess to having feck all taste in decor and am very hap-hazard and untidy by nature. my house was 12 years old when I bought it and it is the worst of 1990's cheap semi-ds, but this is no excuse. I have a friend who bought the same kind of one and hers is just lovely now because she has style. My house just looks cold and thrown together with no make or shape to it. A vanilla box with cheap pictures. I don't have a lot of money and would be trying to make decorate on very little (kind of hoping paint and soft furnishings might warm things up a bit) but would be willing to pay someone to give a consultation and maybe set me on the right track. Do you think you might be able to help or do you know someone who might?

I'm an interior designer in Cork but I specialise in interior redesign and home staging, which uses what people already have so my services are much more affordable. Have a look on my website www.onedaydesign.ie.
