    I just noticed this and thought that I'd share it with all ye:

    A few drops of cold water were splashed on MSFT as
    Dell reported taking a stake in privately held Red Hat
    Software, a small private firm marketing the Linux
    operating system, a tiny thorn growing bigger in MSFT's
    side.

    Times are sure changing...

    Here it is lads. Dell are going to give the customer the option of having Linux preinstalled on PowerEdge servers and Presision Workstations. Check out http://www.dell.com/products/workstat/isv/linux.htm and http://www.dell.com/products/poweredge/linux/index.htm. In the second half of '99 they will be including this option on the Optiplex range. Seems Dell are moving with the times. Everyone go out and buy a Dell and keep me in a job smile.gif
